Happy Friday 🙂 At the start of the week I purchased a new crochet hook; a 6mm for a new project I am working on. It got me to thinking about all my other hooks, yes I do think about the strangest of things 🙂
As a needle is to a sewer, or a mixing bowl is to a baker, so a hook is to a crocheter. So it is very important to make sure you always have the right one for the right project, and what’s the only way to do this? Why to have a little collection of course!
I realise my collection is a little low on smaller hook sizes, and that’s because I just haven’t had a need for them….yet 🙂 Of course every hook needs a home …
And this is where my hooks live 🙂 It folds open, and has lots of different compartments, perfect for hooks and needles and what not. I am not sure exactly what it’s original purpose was, but it serves it’s new one brilliantly. And it has an owl on it, so you know it’s a winner!
I’m off to work on my new top secret, hush hush, highly sensitive new project. (It’s not really hush hush, or top secret and it’s definitely not highly sensitive, I just wanted to be dramatic! ) Hope everyone has a great weekend 🙂
Happy crocheting! See you next time!
