Tempus fugit!

Can you believe it’s the end of August (almost) already, where the heck did that month go? Or all those other 7 months for that matter! Oh, but where are my manners?! Hello! Happy Friday to you 🙂

But seriously time is really flying by.

Sand through fingers

As Alexander Wang put it “Time passes faster and faster, but with every project I always want to find the next challenge and the next challenge is just as exciting as the previous one.”

As far as challenges go, this week has had it’s fair share! But I am happy to be able to report that progress has been made 🙂 Can I get a “Huzzah!” Yes, I have progressed passed the “this is not quite right, time to rip it back and start again” phase (you can read more about that here) and have moved onto the “ok, this looks kinda ok, I can kinda see how it’s going to turn out, everything is just super, oh look a puppy” phase. (Note: puppies are an optional extra to this phase, but highly recommended!)

As Alexander says, it’s the challenges that keep us going, that give us the taste for more, and when more comes, even more after that! And as every crafter knows, holding that finished project in your hands, and feeling that sense of pride and accomplishment makes sense of all those challenges and heck, even makes them worthwhile 🙂 So here’s to facing those challenges head on and having fun doing so 🙂 Have a great weekend!

Happy crocheting! See you next time!
